Leipzig can be reached by airplane as well as by train and by car.
The Halle/Leipzig Airport (LEJ) is directly connected by regular flights from all larger German cities. International connections are operated i.e. by Air Berlin or via the airports in Fankfurt and Munich.
There is a good city train (S-Bahn) connection between Halle/Leipzig Airport and Leipzig's Main Railway Station.
By train, you can use the intercity connections Hamburg-Berlin-Munich (direction North-South) or Frankfurt/Main-Dresden (direction West-East). Leipzig's Main Station is located directly in the city centre. The easiest way to go to DHD is by taxi. You'll find taxi stands close to all exits.
Nearby the exit "Westseite", you'll find a tram stop for the line 9 (direction "Thekla"). Please get off the tram at "Apelstraße". Walk along the "Apelstraße" for approx. 330 meters. Turn left diagonally into the "Dessauer Straße" between the buildings of the Peugeot car dealer. After further 150 meters turn right into the "Haferkornstraße". The "Haferkonstraße 5 " is right-hand neighbour to the supermarket.

By car, you'll reach Leipzig on Motorway A9 (Berlin-Munich). Change to motorway A14 at the "Schkeuditz" junction towards "Leipzig/Dresden". Leave the motorway at exit "Leipzig Mitte" towards "Zentrum" on highway B2. From here, please follow this route description.
